The 7th grade girls basketball team Won the Northern Valley Junior League Championship last Thursday by beating Warren County Middle School in overtime with the score of 20 to 19. The 7th grade cougars were led into overtime by a game tying free throw from Kiley Ramey in regulation. Down by one point in overtime with 20 seconds left Point Guard Raegan Owens drove down count and passed the ball to Forward Lauren Gibson who then made the go ahead basket with 11 seconds left, then a steal from Mya Creswell sealed the game for the 7th grade lady cougars. The cougars were led by Lauren Gibson with 5 points, and Elizabeth Wallace and Raegan Owens both had 3 points. Congratulations Girls all of your hard work has paid off.
