Deem Secures State Qualifying Time in First Meet
In Clarke County's very first competition of the season, Senior Emily Deem qualified for the state meet in the 50 Freestyle. Taking a break from competitive swimming for the last few months didn't slow the Lady Eagle down. In the December 4th Tri-meet against East Rockingham and Sherando High Schools, Deem seemed initially surprised herself by her achievement. This will mark her fourth year in state competition as a Lady Eagle swimmer.
